While majoring in law at the Faculty of Law of the Trnava University she gained first work experience as a legal assistant in an international Slovak-Austrian law office and also spent some time as a trainee at the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic. After successfully obtaining a law degree she worked as a junior lawyer in a prominent world-renowned company in the field of legal advice, tax advice, and audit and accounting services with headquarters in Germany. She is fluent in Slovak, German and English. In addition to commercial law and company law she specialises in mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, legal advice regarding real estate, intellectual property law and labour law. In 2017 Adriena took part in a 3-months long educational European Lawyers Programme organised by the Scottish Bar Association (Faculty od Advocates) and European Lawyers’ Association in Edinburgh. Afterwards she became the board member and the national representative of the European Lawyers’ Association for the Slovak and Czech Republic.
